AI Transparency

BlenSite builds websites with the help of artificial intelligence. This page sets out which AI we use, what it does, and how you can tell what was AI-generated. It describes what actually ships — not intentions.
Legal framework: Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744. The Article 50 transparency obligations have applied since 2 August 2026.

The background videos in page heroes are not AI material — they are royalty-free stock footage.
2. How to identify AI content
- AI-generated images carry a machine-readable provenance marker embedded in the image itself: the IPTC property
DigitalSourceType = trainedAlgorithmicMedia. This covers JPEG, PNG and WebP. - Animated image sequences carry the same marker in every single frame, including the poster image.
- Stock material deliberately carries no such marker. The marker means "generated by AI"; putting it on a stock photograph would be false.
- Generated pages include
<meta name="generator" content="BlenSite (AI-assisted)">in the page head. - In chat, the interface tells you that you are talking to an AI (Art. 50(1) AI Act).
The marking is not lost on publication: image files are served exactly as produced, with no re-encoding step.
3. What the AI does not do
- No training on your data. Your content is not used to train AI models.
- No automated decisions about people. BlenSite does not score, profile or rank individuals. It generates website content.
- No biometric data, no emotion recognition.
- Only text prompts derived from your business details are sent to the models — never personal data belonging to your own customers.
4. Transfers outside the EU
In the Premium tier only, two AI keyframes are sent to fal.ai (USA) and interpolated there into an animated sequence. All other AI processing takes place in the EU. For the legal basis of that transfer, see the Privacy Policy.
5. Your responsibility as the operator of your website
This is the most important section on this page.
AI-generated content can contain errors. Check copy, figures, prices, opening hours and legal details before you publish. By publishing, you take editorial responsibility for your website.
Under the AI Act you are the deployer of your website. If you use photorealistic AI imagery that could depict real people, places or events, disclosure obligations of your own may apply to you (Art. 50(4) AI Act). We mark the material machine-readably; the visible disclosure on your site is yours to make.
6. How BlenSite is classified under the AI Act
BlenSite is an AI system subject to transparency obligations ("limited risk", Art. 50). It is not a high-risk system under Annex III: it makes no decisions about employment, creditworthiness, education, access to essential services or law enforcement.
BlenCode GmbH is the provider of this system. The competent market surveillance authority in Germany is the Bundesnetzagentur.
